Freshman English:

Learning Targets: I can monitor my own reading to make sure that I understand and retain important details/information; I can write a cohesive summary that follows a logical sequence

1. Hang reading timelines

2. Reading day!  Read your choice book and write your summaries as you complete each of the 8 sections. (Don't wait until the end to write your summaries! You'll forget what happened in each section…)

Homework: Continue reading. Pace yourself in a way that is appropriate to your reading skill and speed
