Mrs. Redmond

Welcome to room 106! While I have been eager to get to know all of you I realized that you probably have questions about me. When I was in kindergarten I went to Minnehaha Elementary School, and my teacher's name was Mrs. Bobby. My favorite subject in school was math and it is still my favorite subject to teach. My favorite picture book from when I was a child is I'll Love You Forever and my favorite chapter book is The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles by Julie Andrews Edwards. Did you know that Julie Andrews played Mary Poppins in the Disney movie? My favorite activity when I was your age was juggling for my schools Master Juggling Team. I am the coach for the Lacamas Juggling Team. Maybe we can find some time to learn a few juggling moves this year. I also work with our school's Senior Leadership group.  When I was nine I knew I wanted to be a teacher and I never changed my mind, and I probably never will. I love my job and my students!

I'll Love you forever Whangdoodle

Now that I am an adult I still live in the same neighborhood I grew up in with my husband Brenton and our two year old daughter Charlotte. We have a crazy dog named Daisy who is a lab and grey hound mix. Charlotte is the happiest kid and fills our days with joy. Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, baking, and sewing. I even baked my own wedding cake!

I can't wait to see what the rest of our year has in store!
