This is our last week that we will be practicing for the performance task portion of the Smarter Balance.  We are taking two related articles and doing practice questions with them, then doing each form of writing to review and help the students feel confident they can tackle whatever is asked of them.  We have an underlying focus of conventions as well.  We have noticed a gradual slip of these skills and feel they are important to keep reviewing the basics.
