The Camas High School Band, directed by Richard Mancini, offers students a diverse musical experience and four years of learning how to work with other humans for the greater good of all. It's pretty fun too….
Proud we are of the Big Red Machine's performance in Husky Stadium on Saturday, September 19, for this year's Husky Band Day. They represented themselves and our community with class and the typical Papermaker Pride. The Camas Band was the largest high school band on the field, flanking one side of the Husky Marching Band. Equally proud are we of the 10 former Camas Band members marching with the HMB this year. The photo at the right shows the Camas Band in the (waaaaay) upper seats of Husky Stadium just prior to the game–and the Husky Band put this pic on their Facebook page! Go Camas!
Congratulations to the CHS Band on a great opening night of the new marching band season! Though we had 20 banditos missing due to other school activities, the remaining 160 kids put on a good show, especially during the post-game. Congratulations to all!
